Preperation Process

Step-1. Thoroughly wash feeding bowl and all utensils to be used in preparing the feeding.
Step-2. After rinsing soap from the utensils boil them for 5 minutes and provide clean surface on which to prepare the formula.
Step-3. In a separate pan , heat water to a rolling boil for 5 minutes and allow it to cool lukewarm.
Step-4. Pour the correct amount of lukewarm previously boiled water into the sterilized feeding bowl.
Step-5. Fill enclosed scoop, then scrape level with the straight edge of the knife.
Step-6. Add one level of enclosed scoop of Shishulac Rice powder to each 30 ml of water in the bowl.
Step-7. Mix until completely dissolve, Test the temperature of the mixture and feed.
Step-8. After feeding, discard any unused formula within 1 hour.

 

Storage Instructions

  • Kindly transfer the powder into air tight container so that powder will not come in contact to moisture & air, after opening use the contents, within three weeks or the expiry date whichever is earlier.

Caution

• Unboiled water, unsterilized bowls/spoons or incorrect dilution may endanger infant’s health.
• Prepare only one feed at a time.
• Use prepared feed immediately (within half an hour), otherwise microbial deterioration may set in.
• Discard unused feed.
• Always hold baby while feeding.
• Leaving the baby unattended may cause choking.

Warning

• Careful and hygienic preparation of Infant food is most essential for health.
• Do not use fewer scoops than directed since diluted feeding will not provide adequate nutrients needed by your infant.
• Do not use more scoops than directed since concentrated feed will not provide the amount needed by your infant.
• Infant Food should be used only on the advice of health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use.
• Infant food is not the sole source of nourishment of an Infant.
• It is important to follow the mentioned feeding and storage instructions while using this Infant Food for your baby’s well being.
