Preperation Process

  • Thoroughly wash feeding bottle or bowl, nipple, cap and all utensils to be used in preparing the feeding.
  • After rinsing soap from the utensils, boil them for 5 minutes.
  • Provide clean surface on which to prepare the formula.
  • In a separate pan, heat water to a rolling boil for 5 minutes and allow it to cool lukewarm.
  • Pour the correct amount of lukewarm, previously boiled water into the sterilized feeding bottle or bowl.
  • Fill enclosed scoop, then scrape level with the straight edge of the knife.
  • Add one level of enclosed scoop of Momylac stage 1 powder to each 30 ml of water in the bottle or bowl.
  • Mix until completely dissolve. Test the temperature and feed.
  • After feeding, discard any unused formula within 1 hour.

Storage Instructions

  • Close the tin tightly after each use and store in a cool dry place. After opening use the contents within three weeks or the expiry date whichever is earlier.

Caution

  • Unboiled water, unsterilized bowls/spoons or incorrect dilution may endanger infant’s health.
  • Prepare only one feed at a time.
  • Use prepared feed immediately (within half an hour), otherwise microbial deterioration may set in.
  • Discard unused feed.
  • Always hold baby while feeding.
  • Leaving the baby unattended may cause choking.

Warning

  • Careful and hygienic preparation of Infant Milk substitute is most essential for health.
  • Do not use fewer scoops than directed since diluted feeding will not provide adequate nutrients needed by your infant.
  • Do not use more scoops than directed since concentrated feed will not provide the amount needed by your infant.
  • Infant Milk substitute should be used only on the advice of health worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use.
  • Infant milk substitute or Infant food is not the sole source of nourishment of an Infant.
  • It is important to follow the mentioned feeding and storage instructions while using this Infant formula for your baby’s wellbeing.
